From the technicalities of wine making to the complex investment market, extravagant or inexpensive, and commonly overlooked producers from remote regions, Tanzer has a hand in bringing that information to the masses. Aside from his Tenure at the IWC, Tanzer has also cut his teeth as a wine journalist for the Food & Wine
, and writing the Food & Wine’s Official Wine Guide
(’98 and ’99 version). Tanzer then takes all of this experience, and applies it to rating the ten thousand plus wines he samples annually.
