Raised for over 22 centuries, Chianina is an ancient cattle breed indigenous to Val di Chiana, a lush plain located between the regions of Tuscany and Umbria in central Italy. Chianina has earned an international reputation as a commercially superior beef for its lean and excellent nutritional characteristics.
