Tinned sardines are a pantry micronutrient powerhouse boasting high levels of protein, calcium, omega-3 fatty acids, selenium and vitamins B12, C, D and E, while being one of the lowest mercury fish. Enjoy them on their own, on some buttered bread or in your favourite tapas.
