I’m still enjoying the current cooler weather here in Hong Kong – and all the great comfort food that comes with it! When you’re feeling that call for comfort food, there’s no better dish to whip up than a creamy, cheesy and indulgent bowl of mac and cheese… made even better with Sirana Gligora’s truffle cheese. Although this dish does take some preparation, I assure you that the result is definitely worth it!
I decided to add some broccoli and breadcrumbs for extra texture, but you could also swap in other more sinful toppings like bacon bits if you prefer. If you need an extra punch of truffle, stir in a small amount of truffle paste – or even top your mac and cheese with some shaved fresh truffle – for good measure.
Ingredients 200g mmacaroni pasta 1 cup Sirana Gligora truffle cheese, shaved 1 head broccoli, blanched and chopped 600ml milk 100ml whipping cream 20g flour 40g unsalted butter 5 tbsp bread crumbs Salt and pepper to taste
