Sesame prawns with white balsamic condiment - Profood Limited
  • Sesame prawns with white balsamic condiment

A restaurant quality dish with our White Condiment 15 Travasi. It is easy to make at home and can be a beautiful addition to your romantic dinner ideas.

Serves 2

2 medium potatoes
10 shrimps
1 red bell pepper
Sesame seeds
Acetaia Leonardi White Condiment 15 Travasi

  1. Peel the potatoes, cut them into thin slices and soak them in water for 10 minutes (they will lose excess starch)
  2. Wash, stem and seed the bell pepper, and cut into rectangles.
  3. Add a generous amount of olive oil to the pan, once hot add in your chopped pepper and let it brown. Season with salt and cook for 15 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, drain the potato slices and dry them. Heat up another pan brushed over with olive oil and fry the slices. Let them cook on both sides (the thinner the slices, the less time you need to cook them).
  5. Wash the shrimp and remove their heads. Clean them well, leaving only the meat.
  6. Cover the shrimp with sesame seeds and lightly stir-fry in olive oil for 2-3 minutes.
  7. To compose the dish just lay the potatoes on the bottom, slightly season them with salt, and top with the peppers and prawns.
  8. Finish with some chopped parsley and a splash of White Condiment.
